The JMRA Week In Review: Gregg The Bounty Hunter

March 4, 2012

While the narrative is already being penned on the 2012 New Orleans Saints thanks to their former defensive coordinator, here is a rundown of some other noteworthy news over the last week.

After the NFL revealed Gregg Williams launched a bounty program dating back to 2009 with the Saints, word trickled out this weekend that it goes back further to his days with the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills in the early 2000s.

If the NFL has a 50,000 page report on you, that probably means a visit to the NFL offices is in your future.

Since 2009, only the Lions and Eagles committed more “rough penalties” than the Saints.

In other Saints news, Drew Brees received a franchise tag.

Peyton Manning appeared at last night’s UNC/Duke game in Durham, North Carolina. He made news earlier when a creeper shot a portion of his workout.

Former Patriots quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien talked about the Wes Welker “drop” late in Super Bowl XLVI.

This is the NBA play of the year so far…until LeBron James and Dwyane Wade come up with something better.

The new Kate Upton/Carl’s Jr. commercial is…well, you know.

Peyton Hillis is in fact NOT retiring to become a CIA agent…wait, what!?

Tim Tebow took Taylor Swift out to dinner.

Twelve things you should stop paying for right now.
