Jerry Jones Says Cowboys Will Open Up A Can Of Whip Tail Against Giants

July 31, 2012

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones took time out of his schedule on Monday to pump up Dallas fans at training camp in Oxnard, California.

In the process, he delivered some colorful remarks about the team’s upcoming meetings with the Super Bowl champion New York Giants:

“Y’all should come to Cowboys Stadium and watch us beat the Giants’ asses.”

When told asked about his owner’s statement, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett kept it simple:

“Jerry Jones owns this football team,” Garrett said. “He has owned it for 23 years, so he can do anything he wants.”

Jones’s comments piggyback Sunday’s rip-roaring display when while discussing his hunger to win again, he expressed a desire for more “glory hole” days in Dallas.

Perhaps thrown off-guard, team spokesman Rich Dalrymple quickly noted that the expression “glory hole” referred to a term related to oil business and not…well, you know.

Finally got coach Ryan to put a sock in his pie hole and now Jerry is shooting off his mouth like he is Martellus Bennett. Talk is cheap. Shut up and get it done on the field!

The last line of your response should be the official title of the 2012 Dallas Cowboys NFL Films Yearbook. Just stop talking and start playing.
