Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has been suspended for the first three games of the 2009 season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. The suspension stems a February incident in which Lynch was pulled over by Los Angeles police. In the process, they found a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun in Lynch’s car, along with marijuana cigarettes.
Buffalo will lean on backup Fred Jackson in the process. However, Jackson is a bit unhappy these days due to his contract situation and is skipping offseason workouts. The Bills are in the process of bringing in help at running back including talking to free agent fullback Cecil Sapp.
From the good news department for Buffalo, guess who showed up to some workouts?!
