If this series took place under today’s light rules, half of the players in the fabled 1984 NBA Finals probably would have received Artest-like suspensions.  In fact, the Game 4 Rambis/McHale incident would have likely resulted in Big Mac being locked up in a darkened room for a year until NBA commish David Stern saw fit for him to come out and play. By the way, the Boston Garden was not the place to be in 1984 if you were a fan of air conditioning.
