Chase Utley extended the life of the Phils in Game 5 of the World Series with a pair of homers to help support Cliff Lee’s pitching effort. The scorn of some earlier in the playoffs due to a lack of hitting and fielding mistakes, Utley is putting one of the best World Series shows of all-time, tying the World Series record for most home runs in a series.

The Phils return to Yankee Stadium on Wednesday to try to push this series to an unthinkable Game 7. They were the best road team in baseball in 2009. On Wednesday and possibly Thursday, they’ll need to be just that once again.
