Kurt and Brenda unite!
10:16: The Cardinals swiftly move the ball downfield culminating in an Anquan Boldin touchdown. He is a star crossed player. He’s as talented as Fitzgerald in my opinion but gets dinged up too often and doesn’t have Fitz’s pedigree and thus, not nearly as well received. Too bad.
COLTS 21, CARDINALS 10
10:25: Indy misses a field goal but the Cards don’t take advantage of their good fortune. Their drives falls apart thanks to poor offensive line play and off throws by Warner.
10:38: Again, when you leave Peyton too much wiggle room he’ll make you pay. Donald Brown takes a Manning pass 72 yards, leading up to Manning’s fourth touchdown pass to a fourth different receiver, this time Joe Addai. Kurt Warner is likely to pay dearly for this…
COLTS 28, CARDINALS 10
10:46: Cards call timeout. Look, this is vintage Indy. Team A doesn’t take advantage of a few opportunities. Manning exploits such mistakes by posting touchdowns. Then, that falls right into one of the few considerable strengths of Indy, its defensive line. They pin their ears back, rush the passer, and panic ensues in the streets. This also leads to numerous holding calls which the Cardinals are finding out about tonight. Dwight Freeney could probably make the Pro Bowl on this game. Cards can’t block him. It’s either a spin move that leads to pressure or a spin move that leads to a holding penalty seemingly.
