One of the big storylines from spring training was the supersonic beard of Philadelphia Phillies rightfielder Jayson Werth. It was a vision to say the least. Unfortunately, Werth decided to go without the bearded look as the regular season looms in a few days. As a result of shaving, hysteria and disappointment is the order of the day.
