Before the last few days, most of the NFL universe’s attention went to the ongoing concern over Albert Haynesworth’s inability to complete conditioning tests.

His failure to complete the tests led to many staging their own “NFL conditioning tests” to show up Haynesworth’s efforts.

Now, the former Tennessee Titan will have an MRI on his sore left knee, which appears to be the reason why the soon to be defensive end is struggling to pass his conditioning test.

Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan deemed the MRI a “preventative measure” for a player who has routinely missed training camp practices due to a sore knee.

Haynesworth is the only Redskin player required to take a conditioning test since he decided to skip the squad’s offseason workout program.

Let that be a lesson to you kids out there. Refusing to be a team player during the offseason seems to be catching up with Haynesworth.
