After a slow start in Detroit, Tom Brady devoured Detroit’s defense and then did the same towards the cobbler of Phil Simms’ mother after accepting the former quarterback’s All-Iron Award for his four touchdown effort on Thanksgiving Day.
Elsewhere, the decline of Peyton Manning continued thanks to another less than stellar effort versus the San Diego Chargers.
The biggest winner of the week?
Kansas City’s Matt Cassel slammed Seattle to the tune of four touchdown passes. Cassel has thrown 10 touchdowns over the past three weeks and has not been intercepted since November 7.

Dropped out: Josh Freeman, David Garrard
Manning has thrown seven interceptions over the past two games as the injuries and ineffective offensive line play is catching up to the Colts. As a result, he has dropped all the way from to the top spot to eighth over the past few weeks.
Elsewhere, the magic carpet ride for David Garrard seems to be ending as he fell out of the Top 10.

Dropped out: Colt McCoy
It is never a good thing when teams have two quarterbacks in the bottom region. Both Oakland and Carolina hold such a dubious distinction. Gradkowski’s poor effort versus Miami reinstated his eligibility to the list but also brought him closer to the top.
Derek Anderson’s meltdown was symbolic of his team’s lackluster performance in 2010.
