Up and coming fashion icon and Super Bowl XLV MVP Aaron Rodgers threw in his two cents on the owners’ proposal/Jedi mind-trick on the players last night.
Rodgers is correct. The original media spin following the owners’ ratification of the agreement reeked of some sort of naiveté or utter desire to end this mess as quickly as possible.
In fact, soon after the owners approved the CBA, “FOOTBALL BACK” was one of the top trending phrases on Twitter.

Once the players balked, everyone but the NFLPA seemed stunned.
Despite a report from ESPN Friday morning, that the players are expected to vote today, other news suggests the contrary.
NFLPA President Kevin Mawae said the players will not offer further statement today due to the funeral services for Myra Kraft, wife of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
If the players claim new items have mysteriously popped into the collective bargaining agreement proposal, this deal will not be finished today.
Get ready for a bumpy weekend.
