Anyhow, Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward makes a cameo appearance in the film.

During a scene at Heinz Field, Bane, the film’s main villain, is behind an explosion that takes place during a game involving the Gotham Rogues (the film’s fictional football team).

As the trailer details, Ward scores despite everyone falling victim to Bane’s explosion. Typical Steelers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gotham’s opponents (the Monuments) were penalized for defensive holding or unsportsmanlike conduct on the play.
