Former Charger/Dolphin/Patriot linebacker Junior Seau died on Wednesday at age 43 from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Local authorities in California are investigating Seau’s death as a possible suicide.

It’s a sad ending to the life of Seau, who is on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day.

Seau played in Super Bowl XXIX as a member of the Chargers and then, as a member of the nearly-perfect Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
