Authorities arrested Dez Bryant on domestic violence charges after a family altercation on Saturday.
The incident, which took place in DeSoto, Texas, reportedly involved Bryant’s half-brother. After a melee ensued, Bryant’s mother got involved and was eventually pushed by the Dallas Cowboys receiver.
Once police issued a warrant for his arrest, Bryant turned himself in on Monday. However, he was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
The team released a brief statement regarding the matter through Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple:
“We are in the process of gathering information and will not have a comment at this time.”
As the NFL gets closer to training camp, Roger Goodell gets busier and busier as the arrests mount up.
