How great is Jennifer Lawrence?
After winning the Oscar for Best Actress, she fell on the way to the accepting her award but it mattered little once she reached the podium.
Her role in Silver Linings Playbook about a widow who saddled up with Bradley Cooper’s Pat Solitano (a member of a devout Eagles family) is the closest the Birds have gotten to winning a Super Bowl of anything since 2004.
Of course, this only matters if you consider the two Oscars that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie has in his back-pocket as null and void.
Viva la Lawrence!
In other news, Bradley Cooper lost to Daniel Day-Lewis in the best actor category; while Ben Affleck’s Argo took home the Oscar for Best Picture.
Alas, all wasn’t happy in Mudville…or Philadelphia.
