The Redskins began their plan for global domination by signing former Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to a seven year, $100 million deal with $41 million guaranteed. It marks the first time in NFL history that a defensive player received a $100 million contract.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Albert Haynesworth is set to sign with the Washington Redskins once the free agency period begins on February 27. The deal could be worth $15 or $16 million per season and likely to get the past $100 million marker in the deal.
