Former Detroit Lions quarterback Scott Mitchell will be appearing on NBC’s reality show The Biggest Loser in order to shed some of his extra weight. Mitchell, who once checked in at 240 during his playing days, ballooned up to 366 pounds (!!) since retiring in 2002.
The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) announced it plans to postpone a reality television show about St. Louis Rams defensive end Michael Sam. Last weekend, Sam made sports history when he was the first openly gay player drafted by an NFL team.
In case you missed it on Monday, the NFL made available some of the evidence discovered on the computers of the New Orleans Saints. Suffice to say, these findings (or lack thereof) didn’t make Jonathan Vilma and company very happy.
