Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals. Does that have a cool ring to it? Didn’t think so. The Bengals will be the latest team to delve into the Hard Knocks series that tracks a team through training camp.

Previous teams to participate in the show include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys (twice). The results haven’t been all that favorable for the Hard Knocks teams. The Cowboys missed the playoffs both seasons they did it and Kansas City followed suit in 2007.

Seeing that Chad (I’m refuse to use his current last name) is somewhat gleeful whenever a camera is nearby, the show is sure to be entertaining. Considering the Bengals’ recent woeful history, it’s worth a shot, right? It’s not the brightest move but at least it could give the Cincy some positive pub, instead their players being arrested.
