Get ready Philly.

Michael Vick will play for the Eagles this season after signing to a two year deal. That’s not the best part though. Eagles Nation is not happy. Here is a sample of the Facebook status messages since the Vick signing from Eagles faithful:

Person #1:

“Soooo…how pissed is Ron Jaworksi right now? I say very, because not only is Michael Vick gonna be #7 for the Eagles, but he probably will sell more #7 Eagles jerseys than Jaws ever could. Furthermore, the PETA idiots will contribute to the sales of… the jerseys so that they can burn them in the Linc Parking Lot before every game.”

Person #2:

“Apparently andy reid wants mcnabb to be injured this season.”

Person #3:

“take it from a Falcons fan: the Eagles are effed!”

Person #4:

“is officially boycotting the Eagles if they really signed Michael Vick….please be a joke, please be a joke, please be a joke…..”

Person #5:

“ugh WTF EAGLES…can I really cheer you on when you F-ing sign an animal killer. FU Vick. Ugh I hate this!”

Person #6:

“pretty sure you will never see dogs on the streets of south philadelphia ever again.”

Person #7:

“May lightening strike the fool at Reebok who puts the name Vick onto the back of an Eagles jersey.”

Person #8:

“I am tapping out Eagles…really I mean REALLY! Mike Vick??? He is a ANIMAL KILLER! I need a new team…and before you crazy Giants/Dallas fans offer up suggestions I mean serious suggestions…my brother in law does like the Bucs…”

I had a hard time finding positive Vick statements. Obviously, some Eagle fans are not too happy. By the way, I guess this means the Eagles are just going to run the Wildcat for much of the season?
