Well, when your team isn’t good just start fighting people. That’s exactly what Chicago’s Tommie Harris and Washington’s DeAngelo Hall did on Sunday. Roughly 65 seconds into their battle with the Arizona Cardinals, Harris punched Arizona offensive lineman Deuce Lutui in the head. The decision to eject Harris was rather easy for referee Ed Hoculi. Harris’ ill-time punched did very little to fire up his teammates, who fell behind the Cards 34-7 before losing 41-21 in front of a disappointed home crowd.
Not to be outdone in Atlanta, former Falcon DeAngelo Hall got into a sideline dust up with Falcons head coach Mike Smith of all people after Atlanta’s Matt Ryan got roughed up out of bounds on a scramble. Mr. Hall would like to have a word with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the incident.
