Rex Ryan isn’t interested in just devouring Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in the AFC Championship game, he’s also interested in punishing food. According to a report in the New York Post, Ryan consumes 7,000 calories…a day.
Ryan’s favorite type of cuisine is Mexican food but Jets assistant coaches insist on calling it “Rexican”. It is far cry though from the famous Michael Phelps diet. After all, Phelps burns calories through swimming; thus, such a diet isn’t terribly taxing. Meanwhile Ryan just feeds the machine to feed the machine.
Should Ryan lead the Jets to the Super Bowl on Sunday, plenty of New Yorkers and Jets fans will love to buy the rotund head coach plenty of “Rexican” food.
