Dwight Freeney’s ankle has been mentioned nearly as much as Peyton Manning this week. Expect it to get even more attention come Super Bowl Sunday according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Reportedly, Freeney is likely to play on Sunday against New Orleans.

The all-pro defensive end, who missed practice on Friday, will attempt to give it a go on the game’s biggest stage. It will be an emotional lift for the Colts to see him out there after all of the talk. If he starts, I’m running right at him on the first play.
