According to Pittsburgh’s KDKA-TV, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told police offers that he had consensual sexual contact with his accuser but not sexual intercourse.

KDKA-TV reported that the Steeler signalcaller talked to the cops on the night of the incident.

Roethlisberger’s lawyer, Ed Garland, states his client is “completely innocent” of the sexual assault claims. However, one problem that potentially looms for Team Ben is an injury suffered by the 20-year-old accuser.

The alleged victim was admitted to the hospital with a head injury, which according to the two-time Super Bowl winner came from a fall following the consensual contact.
