ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that embattled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell soon after Monday’s announcement regarding the status of Big Ben’s legal entanglement.

As we have seen throughout his time as NFL boss, Goodell does not put up with much off the field nonsense.

Even if the charges against Roethlisberger are dropped, he is far from out of the woods. Depending on Goodell’s findings, don’t be shocked if Roethlisberger is tagged with a suspension when the dust settles on this one.

Mortensen’s report comes hours after the Steelers got rid of one headache off their hands. Now, it might be time for them to handle the other.
