Regardless of anyone’s opinion of Tim Tebow, he sure does create quite the fuss. In fact, a record setting type of fuss. Tebow’s Denver Broncos jersey broke sales records for a rookie player jersey. His #15 jersey surpassed a sales record previously held Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Drafted 25th by the Broncos in last week’s NFL Draft, the much-celebrated Tebow will bring a following with him and it will not just translate to jersey sales.
Denver will play their first game of the 2010 season on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Already, fans are anticipating Tebow’s return to Florida during Week 1.
The funny part is that Tebow could easily be the third string quarterback entering that game thanks to Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn.
Nonetheless, Tebow fever has/is gripping the nation.
