Drew Brees issued a series of tweets on Friday morning that explained the NFLPA’s mindset at the moment.
According to Brees, the owners are reluctant to release some of their financial records based off of a request made on their behalf for $1 billion from the players.
Days ago, the owners did provide some information but clearly not enough to appease the union.
Just from the naked eye, that appears to be quite a hurdle to clear in these negotiations.
The deadline for a new CBA is today at 5 p.m. ET.
