Last night featured the premiere episode of a new season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

Also, it marked the first dancing performance of Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward.

This clip features Ward meeting his partner, Kym Johnson, which leads to a rather enjoyable exchange.

Johnson had no idea what Ward did for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Initially, Johnson asked Ward, “What do you do in the football?”

She followed that outstanding lead-in with “Are you the one that does the touchdown?”

It’s so adorable that she knows next to nothing about football.

As pointed out after their performance, Ward appears ready to continue the line of successful football players that have participated on DWTS, which includes Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice.

If Steeler Nation has anything to do with it, Ward will be dancing for quite some time.
