Until the NFL Lockout ends, we will bring you random daily items in an effort to improve your life, raise general awareness, or to provide further distraction from such ominous terms as “collective bargaining agreement”, “federal mediator”, or “18-game season”.
I figured I’d rejoin civilization to bring you the latest meanderings from the mind of Braves third baseman Chipper Jones.
The Braves will attempt to dethrone my beloved Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East but at the moment, Jones has other things on his mind.
The former All-Star recently discussed his thoughts on the assassination of John F. Kennedy before an Atlanta spring training contest.
You see, Jones doesn’t buy the Warren Commission’s belief that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone:
I’m sure it went pretty high but I don’t know how high. Let’s just say somebody had to put it into motion — and it was somebody high-ranking in the U.S. government.
Even though Jones wears the enemy colors, I tend to agree.
Having visited Dealy Plaza, it definitely seems somewhat preposterous that Oswald could have nailed Kennedy from the depository building at that angle.
He may have been involved but some assistance was provided in my opinion.
See what happens when football isn’t around?
You’re left with me discussing the views of Chipper Jones and myself regarding the JFK assassination.
Consider yourself somewhat uninformed.
