According to several reports, Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in intensive care after he was stabbed on Friday by a woman in Miami.

Marshall is resting after surgery to repair the wound found in the stomach region.

The aforementioned woman involved with the stabbing is believed to be Marshall’s wife.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

The former Bronco joined Miami in April 2010 after the Dolphins acquired the troubled receiver from Denver in a trade. Soon after arriving to Miami, he signed a four-year deal, worth $47.5 million including $24 million guaranteed.
