I get that it’s the “dress-rehearsal” game for teams around the league during Week 3 preseason action. Yet, what happened in Pittsburgh last night bordered on bizarre.

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan finished yesterday’s 34-16 loss at Pittsburgh 22 of 42 for 220 yards with a touchdown and interception…all in the first half.

It’s understandable that Atlanta is trying to get work in for their offense but is it all that necessary to have him throw 42 times in the first half?
