Don’t be fooled by Philadelphia’s 27-17 win over New England on Monday night.
It wasn’t exactly all sunshine and butterflies for the Eagles, who trailed early in the second quarter 11-0 to the Tom Brady-less/Rob Gronkowski-less/Vince Wilfork-less, etc., Patriots.
Following a New England offensive series, Philadelphia defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins sat on the bench when Andy Reid sauntered over to the same area.
Growing tired of his first-stringers’ lackluster play versus New England’s second-unit, Reid and Jenkins got into it. Obviously, they were not exchanging apple pie recipes.
To quote, Rick James…UNITY!
