The Chip Kelly regime in Philadelphia is bringing down the iron curtain on fast food in an effort to get the team into better playing shape.
Kelly recently eliminated two staples during the Andy Reid era – Taco Tuesdays and Fast Food Fridays.
Instead of cheeseburgers and french fries, the Eagles are putting a premium on endurance and healthy eating.
Surely, those extra curly fries could have contributed to the Eagles losing 11 of their last 12 games in 2012.
All joking aside, I like it. If Kelly’s football methodology is based off of speed, quickness, and outlasting your opponent, repeated trips to the buffet line for fried fish need to stop.
In other Eagles related news, the Birds are also piping in uptempo music to change the team’s overall demeanor.
Philly’s playlist includes LMFAO, Haddaway, Van Halen, AC/DC, and this classic doozy from Duran Duran…
I don’t know if this going to work out but it’ll be a sight to see.

Gosh, I thought I was looking at a young Andy Reid (Read: Fatso) when I opened the Deadspin article. Maybe somebody oughta nudge Chip and remind him that he should also say no to KFC and Burger King.
Well, you know…
