A Radio City Rockettes show is conflicting with next April’s NFL Draft, and in turn, may result in the annual event being moved to May.
The NFL and NFLPA are working on a deal that would move the annual draft to May beginning in 2014 because of “The Spring Spectacular,” a Rockettes show that would take place at the same site as the draft – Radio City Music Hall.
The move is a part of restructuring the league’s calendar, which could land the NFL Scouting Combine in March.
The proposed date change for next year would be May 15.
It took an Easter show to do it but I’m cool with this change. The only way to make it even better is to move the draft back to Saturdays at noon.
I know Uncle Rog loves that primetime window but back to Saturdays please!
