Vegas oddmakers are making the 0-5 Jacksonville Jaguars the biggest underdog in NFL history on Sunday when they visit the league’s current version of Ivan Drago, the 5-0 Denver Broncos.
The Jaguars were installed as 28-point underdogs, which establishes a point-spread record.
Back in 1976, the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers were 24-point underdogs to the two-time defending world champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
I can’t imagine how Denver will get up for this game but it should matter little. According to a Madden simulation, motivation will not be problem.
It’s Denver’s world right now and we’re just living in it…until the thermometer hits under 40 degrees.
