Nick Foles Ties NFL Record With 7 TD Passes (Yes, You Read Correctly)

Welp, I guess Chip Kelly will not have to answer too many questions (for now) about the Eagles quarterback situation after Sunday’s events.

Nick Foles tied an NFL record with seven touchdown passes against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday in a 49-20 victory in the Black Hole.

Foles finished 22 of 28 for 406 yards with seven touchdown passes. As an injured Michael Vick looked on from the sideline, Foles joined Denver’s Peyton Manning as the second quarterback this season to hit the seven touchdown mark.

Manning turned the trick in Week 1 against the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

Week 9 marked a shocking turn of events for Foles and the Philly offense, which only managed to score 10 points in its previous eight quarters of football.

If both Eagles signal-callers remain healthy, I’m guessing it’s Nick Foles’ world and Michael Vick is just living in it.
