Coming Attraction: Live Game Blog – AFC Championship: The Final Conflict

For the first time since January 2007, the New England Patriots will play on the road in a playoff game and it’s a doozy.

We’ll see Brady-Manning XV on Sunday with a berth in Super Bowl XLVIII on the line.

In celebration of such a historic event, the live blog will be up and running.

After all, it’s quite possible these two may never actually play each other again.

That’s right…

THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL-TIME*** may hang it up after this season. So, win or lose, prepare for four hours of metaphorical sobbing by the FOPs (Friends of Peyton).

He’ll either be called THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL-TIME or THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL-TIME THAT DRINKS BUD LIGHT.

Either way, it’ll be fun.

If this resembles the National Wrestling Alliance’s “Final Conflict” in 1983, it’ll end with Demaryius Thomas clotheslining Aqib Talib to get open for a game-winning touchdown.

***Peyton Manning is THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL-TIME if you’re into excluding postseason play and winning Super Bowls as a general part of the argument.
