In one of the most decisive MVP races in NFL history, Peyton Manning won his fifth Associated Press Most Valuable Player award on Saturday night as the league saluted its award winners at the NFL Honors ceremony in New York.
The Broncos quarterback received 49 of 50 votes to claim the MVP award for a fifth time. Manning will look to add more hardware to his trophy case on Sunday when Denver plays Seattle in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The lone non-Peyton MVP vote went to Tom Brady.
