The previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were annihilated 56-14 just over a week ago by the Atlanta Falcons on national TV, shocked the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field on Sunday.
Pittsburgh fell behind to Tampa 10-0 in the first quarter. However, by the start of the fourth quarter led 24-17.
With seconds remaining, Bucs quarterback Mike Glennon engineered a drive that culminated with a five-yard touchdown catch by Vincent Jackson to give 1-3 Tampa a surprising 27-24 victory.
Steelers radio play-by-play announcer Bill Hargrove and analyst (and former Steeler) Tunch Illkin were quite sad about went down.
“I can’t believe I just saw that,” said Illkin after the defeat.
Much agreed, Tunch.
