A bizarre coincidence is set to take place on Sunday. Just over a year after suffering a season-ending knee injury during a game against the Los Angeles Rams, once again, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is set to miss another tilt with the Rams on Sunday.

Numerous reports on Wednesday stated that Wentz will not only miss Sunday night’s game in Los Angeles but also the remainder of the season as the Eagles attempt to keep their fleeting playoff hopes alive. Alas, help could be on the way in the form of their backup quarterback.

Are you old enough to remember when Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles played football in the National Football League?

The reigning and defending Super Bowl MVP was last seen losing to Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in Week 2 before ceding way to a returning Wentz.

It was in Los Angeles last season where Foles began to lay the foundation for his tremendous postseason run that culminated with the Eagles winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

All of Nicky 6’s positive December mojo will be needed to save the Eagles from impending doom. As explained in the latest edition of The JMRA Football Podcast, the Eagles need to do far more worrying about their on-field product than officials and Twitter.
