Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger took to social media on Friday to deliver an inspirational message about how people need to stay indoors while COVID-19 continues to ravage the United States. 

Yet, after his speech two things became extremely clear:

1. He’s totally right. STAY INSIDE. We’re not even at summertime yet and people are worried about partying like it’s their birthright in the middle of a pandemic. Dummies.
2. WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED TO BIG BEN’S BEARD?

Roethlisberger, who is now starting to resemble former Steelers linebacker Brent Keisel, is sporting a beard that makes him look like a cross between Teen Wolf and Santa Claus.

As a point of reference, here was Roethlisberger during the season while recovering from an injury to his throwing arm:

Far less volume here than what we saw on social media on Friday and he’s coloring his beard in the photo above, right?

Either way, that beard needs a razor taken to it at some point.
