According to research done on advancedNFLstats.com, the man was right. Under the circumstances, going for it, while jarring to see, is an understandable proposition. If his own team can’t get over what he did, than the Patriots have far greater problems than Belichick going for it on 4th and 2.
In other news, Colts Nation is restless. Why you ask? They aren’t getting their due for defeating the Patriots. Again, reason #148 why I’m not a big Colts supporter. Note to Colts defense: don’t give up nearly 40 points at home and then have the audacity to complain about not getting your just desserts. Get back to the Super Bowl and then maybe credit will be forthcoming from the national media. When your quarterback routinely saves your bacon in big games, don’t complain.
