Most of the general football population was shocked at the demolition in Dallas yesterday as the Eagles coughed up a number two seed, bye week, and the NFC East crown in one fell swoop during a Week 17 24-0 beatdown courtesy of the Dallas Cowboys.

Donovan McNabb offered little support to an offense that couldn’t get out of its own way on Sunday. While putting up one of the most listless performances of the Andy Reid era, the Eagles fell from a potential two seed to a number six and earned a return trip to Dallas on Saturday night.

While the Eagles may win on Saturday night, their Week 17 collapse may have cost them a shot at winning the NFC.
