The NFL will release its regular season schedule tonight at 7pm on NFL Network.
The league officially announced the continuation of its International Series on Monday, which will feature the Chicago Bears facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 23 in London.
Speaking of the Bears, they could also be in line to start the regular season in Green Bay for the league’s now-traditional opening night game that features the defending Super Bowl champion.
Another likely suspect (and my guess) to face the Packers in Lambeau Field on Thursday, September 9 would be the New Orleans Saints. It would be a clash showcasing the last two Super Bowl champions.
Of course, all of this conjecture and posturing over the NFL schedule is a moot point if the league doesn’t settle up on a new collective bargaining agreement.
