Well, apparently people in Green Bay did and thought it was actually Brett Favre.
This individual appeared at local bars and attended a Packers practice to take pictures with fans while playing the role of the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, one local bar owner stated the fake Favre stayed at his establishment for 15 minutes to sign autographs for his fans.
“The guy is a phony! But he keeps his head down so you can’t get that good of a look at him,” said Jerry Watson, the owner of Stadium View Bar & Grille in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, Captain Wrangler hasn’t been seen in Green Bay since the Packers defeated Minnesota at Lambeau Field in October.
While the profile from the side looks similar, that guy’s head is too big to be considered the real Brett Favre.
Although, I’ll give him credit. He has the squint and smile down pat.
Good on you sir.
