Peyton Manning received stem cell therapy in Eupore earlier this month, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports and NFL Network reported earlier today.

Stem cell therapy is not approved in the States yet and has limited support behind it, which explains why Manning flew overseas. The treatment incorporates the injection of stem cells into a particular area that in turn would stimulate healing to the targeted injured area.

This form of therapy has been used in different cases involving wounds, heart issues, brain damage, and spinal cord injuries.

This shows just how desperate Manning is to get back onto the field.
