Tom Brady/Bill O’Brien Flap Showcases Tiquan Underwood’s Hi-Top Fade

Patriots receiver Tiquan Underwood sports a hi-top fade.

Patriots receiver Tiquan Underwood was on the receiving end of Tom Brady’s lecture prior to TB12’s verbal toe-to-toe battle with offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Bill O’Brien.

While all of the news surrounding the scene on New England’s sideline shifted to Brady and O’Brien, the odd man out is Underwood, which is completely unfair.

Look at his hi-top fade!!!!!

That fad seemingly disappeared back in the 90s but it appears to be making a return.

If you’re unfamiliar with the hair style, let’s take a quick look at famous fades:

Christopher “Kid” Martin

A rapper and (briefly) movie star, Kid of the group Kid ‘n Play is perhaps best remembered for his gargantuan-sized hi-top.

Kenny Walker

Known as Kenny “Sky” Walker, the 1989 NBA slam dunk champion was a standout while playing at the University of Kentucky. During his NBA days, he played for the New York Knicks and Washington Bullets.

In other hi-top news, Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara also rocks the same haircut.

If this style is making a comeback, I’m all for it.
