Not waiting for the conclusion of the Cowboys/Giants Sunday night contest for the NFC East title, the NFL announced its playoff schedule for the first two rounds.
Saturday, January 7 at 4:30pm – Cincinnati at Houston (NBC)
Saturday, January 7 at 8pm – Detroit at New Orleans (NBC)
Sunday, January 8 at 1pm – Atlanta at NY Giants (FOX)
Sunday, January 8 at 4:30pm – Pittsburgh at Denver (CBS)
The divisional round breaks down like this:
Saturday, January 14 at 4:30pm – NO/ATL/DAL/NYG at SF (FOX)
Saturday, January 14 at 8pm – CIN/PIT/DEN at NE (CBS)
Sunday, January 15 at 1pm – HOU/PIT/DEN at BAL (CBS)
Sunday, January 15 at 4:30pm – DET/ATL/DAL/NYG at GB (FOX)
Speaking of the divisional round, here is my favorite fun fact about them. I’m not suggesting that Green Bay is going to be one and out but this is weird:
