Philadelphia Eagles receiver (and vocalist on the rap ditty “On My Dip”) DeSean Jackson finally got the financial security he so desired on Wednesday.

The controversial wideout inked a five-year, $48.5 million deal that will keep him in green for years to come.

The new deal arrives weeks after Philadelphia assigned the franchise tag to Jackson, who would’ve made $9.4 million in 2012.

Jackson’s pay raise should boost his enthusiasm. After the 2011 season ended, Jackson admitted that his contract issues affected his play.

Too bad it didn’t impact his rapping skills.
