New England Patriots

Sorry Fellow Sports Bloggers, The Summer Of Gronk Is Over

From the “this should have happened five months ago” department, Shalise Manza-Young of the Boston Globe reports that the New England Patriots informed tight end/frat-bro Rob Gronkowski that the “Summer of Gronk” is over.

This means none of the following should take place in the foreseeable future:

That is only a small portion of what Gronkowski got into during the off-season. Oddly enough, he became an extremely public personality on one of the most guarded franchises in sports.

New England has been incredibly quite regarding his behavior and actually made him the highest paid tight end in NFL history while he galavanted across America.

Just because Gronkowski ran around with his shirt off most of the off-season and Robert Kraft is punching out people in acting auditions, doesn’t exactly mean The Patriot Way is dead.

It’s still alive and kicking.

The Summer of Gronk is over because it’s time for the Patriots to get back to business.
