The most exciting element of last night’s 6-3 Giants victory over the Patriots proved to be a pre-game horseplay between Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady.
Gronkowski played the role of a defensive back versus Brady (who will never be confused for teammate Wes Welker as a pass-catching maven), playing a sleek wide receiver.
Brady ran a bad route but got open because Gronk played corner similar to the level of some of his actual teammates.
TB12 caught the pass and then applied a Gronk-esque spike.
Neither played last night in the New England loss.
Is the regular season here yet?
