Seahawks Dismantle Arizona 58-0; Pete Carroll Still Trying To Throw

RussellWilson

The Arizona Cardinals embarrassed themselves on Sunday during a 58-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle forced eight turnovers during the 10th biggest shutout in league history and appeared to kick Arizona while they were down.

During the fourth quarter when the game was well out of reach, backup quarterback Matt Flynn (remember him?!?) threw deep on a few occasions including going for it on 4th and 23 Arizona’s 33 with just over seven minutes left.

Instead of merely running it or kicking a 50-yard field goal on the play, the Seahawks chucked it deep. At that point, kick the field goal or run a draw please.

Granted, if a team running trick plays or throwing bombs is offensive to Arizona, they shouldn’t be down 58-0 in the first place.

However, throwing deep at that point is a bit classless.

Having said that, Arizona stinks.
